About Arellano Studios

Thanks for coming to Arellano Studios, where we offer custom handmade wood and metalwork in both modern and rustic décor. Meet the owners:

Jason Arellano, proudly raised in enchanting Taos, New Mexico, always appreciated the hard work and craftsmanship of the artisan culture. Attention to detail and the pursuit of excellence have guided Jason throughout his life.

Those traits compounded during his time as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. A Purple Heart recipient amongst other achievements and recognitions closed out an Honorable time in service.

Following his military chapter, with his wife Lindsey by his side, his career traversed through a variety of fields including the fashion industry, overseeing commercial build outs, and high end home remodeling and construction. At the start of the pandemic, during a season of uncertainty, Jason made the decision to pursue a dream of custom woodworking projects and informally launched Arellano Studios out of his garage in Kansas City. Conversations began with his wife Lindsey’s uncle, Stan Combs, who had owned and operated RUSTICS, custom metalwork décor, out of Oklahoma for 20+ years. Stan was preparing to pass the baton.

Jason, Lindsey, four kiddos and a sheepadoodle relocated to Springfield, MO where Jason jumpstarted a long simmering dream under Stan's guidance.

Now, the long standing legacy of Rustics, by Stan Combs, finds its new home in Arellano Studios, LLC.

We are proud to continue to design and craft “The Original Rustics” through our rustic line, “The Rustic Patina”, which embodies the charm of your favorite mountain lodge or western ranch. We are also excited to embark on future plans to expand into modern design and with a nod to Jason’s heritage, introduce Spanish décor through A Studios. All proudly handmade in the USA from the very best craftsmen.
